The Lens of Time Exhibition Opens in Rome with New Cinema Section

The "The Lens of Time" exhibition, promoted by Anfao and the Museo dell’Occhiale di Pieve di Cadore, opened at Palazzo Piacentini in Rome on October 14, 2026. Running through October 30, the display traces eyewear history from origins to contemporary design across five sections. This Roman chapter introduces an exclusive section dedicated to cinema, curated with Steve Della Casa of the Cineteca Nazionale, exploring how glasses define characters and style in film. Supported by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the project previously debuted in Venice and Milan. Following its Rome run, the exhibition will return to Mido | Eyewearland Milano from February 6–8, 2027, focusing further on the eyewear-cinema connection for the international community.
