Silhouette Group Publishes First Voluntary Sustainability Report Under ESRS Standards

Silhouette Group released its 2024/25 sustainability report on September 8, 2026. This marks the company’s third voluntary disclosure and its first aligned with European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), building on EMAS environmental reporting since 1996. The report highlights that the Linz production facility has been natural gas-free since 2026, electricity is sourced 100% from renewables, and a closed-loop process reduces fresh water usage by 50% per pair of glasses. Additionally, bio-circular materials now fully substitute fossil-based raw materials in manufacturing. Future plans include improving Scope 3 data quality, strengthening supplier collaboration, and integrating sustainability into decision-making.
