At SILMO 2026, Gaston Eyewear unveiled the Casino model, featuring three concentric circles carved into black Mazzucchelli acetate frames manufactured in Val de Loire. Conversely, Zenka introduced the Face & Cie 2 collection, which achieves a similar double-rim aesthetic through the removable CIE247 clip available in eight colors. While both designs utilize open arcs that do not close around the temples, their construction methods differ fundamentally: Gaston’s approach is fixed within the frame material, whereas Zenka’s relies on interchangeable components attached via a snap mechanism.
