ERKERS1879 debuts at SILMO Paris with Flight Collection honoring 1927 Lindbergh flight

Family-run eyewear brand ERKERS1879, founded in Saint-Louis, Missouri, in 1879, is participating in SILMO Paris for the first time. The company presents its new Flight Collection, inspired by Charles Lindbergh’s 1927 solo transatlantic flight, during which he wore Erkers aviation glasses. The collection comprises twenty-two designs, including eighteen optical frames and four sunglasses, each featuring an aviator cap emblem on the temple tips. Manufacturing involves a forty-eight-step protocol with custom rivets and hinges. Ten models named after Missouri locations were revealed before the event, while the remainder awaits public display at the salon. The exhibition runs from September 25 to 28, 2026, at Paris Nord Villepinte, where ERKERS1879 occupies hall 7, stand B166.
