Silhouette Group Reports Avoidance of Over 1,000 Metric Tons of CO₂e Since 2020
Milestone Reached: 1,000,000 kg of CO₂e Avoided!
On July 7, 2025, Silhouette Group announced that its on-site photovoltaic systems at the Linz facility have resulted in the calculated avoidance of more than 1,000 metric tons of CO₂e since the first system was commissioned in 2020. At the time of this milestone, 2,369 PV modules with a total capacity of 984 kWp were installed across the site’s rooftops to generate renewable electricity. The company identifies this self-generation as one component of broader efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at production sites, alongside planned expansions of photovoltaic infrastructure, electrification of production processes, and improved energy efficiency.
