Innovative Eyewear’s Reebok Smart Sunglasses Named to TIME Best Inventions of 2026

Innovative Eyewear announced that its Reebok sport smart eyewear collection, developed under the Lucyd brand, was named to TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2026 list. The recognition in the Audio Sunglasses for Athletes category highlighted features including open-ear audio, noise-cancelling capabilities, polarized lenses, and prescription-ready options. CEO Harrison Gross stated the award indicates strong product-market fit. The selection places the glasses among eight other vision technology innovations on the 300-item list, such as Essilor Stellest lenses and Science Corporation’s PRIMA subretinal implant system. While PRIMA is available in Europe with an FDA humanitarian designation received in July 2026, OneCourt’s assistive device is scheduled to ship at-home versions in December.
