Jil Sander and Oliver Peoples Launch Second Sunglass Collection

Jil Sander and Oliver Peoples have launched Collection 2, their second sunglass collaboration designed by Jil Sander Creative Director Simone Bellotti. The collection comprises three handmade-in-Japan styles featuring premium Italian lenses: one titanium edition and two acetate editions. Edition 7 utilizes titanium with a sculptural top bar and adjustable nose pads, offered in gold or silver frames with various lens tints. Editions 9 and 10 are crafted from acetate; Edition 9 features a thick, angular front that widens at the bottom, while Edition 10 presents an upswept silhouette with curved temples. Both acetate models include universal-fit nose pads and Oliver Peoples’ proprietary glass lenses. Colorways range from subtle tonal matches to strong contrasts across black, mahogany, taupe, buff, blue, and amber frame options.
