Meta Partners with INCA to Support Blind and Low Vision Canadians Through AI Glasses

Meta announced a partnership with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (INCA) to expand access to its AI glasses for blind, deafblind, and low-vision individuals in Canada. The collaboration involves funding across four areas: community engagement, supporting local champions, guiding product development, and providing accessible learning resources. Additionally, Meta is donating AI glasses through INCA’s “Opening Doors to Work” program, which offers training and tools to help participants evaluate how wearable technology can support employment goals. This initiative builds on previous global accessibility efforts, including donations to US veterans and collaborations with Vision Ireland.
