Novacel and MOF Award Diane from Saint-Raphaël in Glass Engraving Contest at Silmo 2026

At Silmo 2026, lens manufacturer Novacel and the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (MOF) in eyewear hosted a glass engraving contest for opticians. Participants created engravings on the Novacel stand, which were submitted to a ballot box. On the final day, MOF experts pre-selected the best works, followed by a random draw to determine the winner. Diane, owner of Les Lunettes de Diane, a custom eyewear shop and workshop in Saint-Raphaël, won the competition. Her prize is training at the Morez Eyewear School. Other selected participants received gifts from Novacel. The initiative aimed to highlight manual skills and craftsmanship among optician-eyewear makers, emphasizing knowledge transmission aligned with MOF values.
