Rodenstock Group Announces Expansion into Spain with Biometric Intelligent Glasses

On March 14, 2023, the Rodenstock Group announced its entry into the Spanish market to introduce its Biometric Intelligent Glasses (B.I.G.) technology. The Munich-based lens manufacturer aims for significant growth in Spain by leveraging local and global laboratories for its value chain. This move follows the 2020 launch of the B.I.G. VISION™ FOR ALL philosophy and the 2022 introduction of B.I.G. NORM™ biometric lenses. Rodenstock emphasizes individual eye measurement using thousands of data points for lens production. The company, founded in 1877, employs approximately 5,100 people globally, operates five central production hubs, and maintains a presence in over 85 countries.
