Charmant Announces Kanako Sasaki Collaboration for 70th Anniversary

Charmant announced an exclusive eyewear collection created with Japanese artist Kanako Sasaki at the Silmo fair in September, coinciding with the brand's 70th anniversary. The collaboration features sunglasses and optical frames displaying multi-coloured patterns inspired by Sasaki’s acrylic work and vibrant colour palette. During the Paris event, Sasaki performed live art on the Charmant stand, where the collection was displayed. Following the announcement, a pop-up event celebrating the collaboration and launching the new eyewear took place at the Line Art Charmant store in Ginza, Tokyo. Sasaki, born in Sendai in 1983, is known for previous collaborations with brands including Loveless and Ujoh.
