Prada Releases Director’s Cut of Linea Rossa Eyewear Film Starring Jake Gyllenhaal
Jake Gyllenhaal Takes on Iceland’s Frozen Landscapes in Karim Huu Do’s Prada Film
Prada released the director’s cut of "To The Summit," a film for its Linea Rossa eyewear collection directed by Karim Huu Do and starring Jake Gyllenhaal. The campaign highlights resilience and vision, featuring five sun and optical styles designed for travelers facing diminished visibility and intense pressure. Production involved filming on remote Icelandic glaciers with a small crew, navigating storms and changing conditions to capture in-camera footage. This material was combined with a single studio day in New York, where practical effects and visual effects completed the journey. Post-production collaboration between seek.studio, WeAreFX, and VFX art director Eugen Lekh focused on invisible effects, including generating normal maps to relight Gyllenhaal for glacial environments.
