SILMO d’Or 2026 Nominees Announced for 33rd International Eyewear Awards

The nominees for the 33rd SILMO d’Or have been revealed ahead of SILMO Paris 2026, which takes place from September 25–28 at Paris Nord Villepinte. The official shortlist spans 13 categories, including independent eyewear design, smart eyewear, low vision solutions, and technological innovation. Recognized as one of the industry’s most prestigious distinctions since its creation in 1994, the award celebrates excellence in craftsmanship and vision technology. Nominees will now undergo an extensive judging process involving optical professionals, designers, and international press members. Winners will be announced during the trade fair. TEF Magazine noted that this year marks ten years of their participation on the jury, with Editor-in-Chief Maarten Weidema serving since 2019.
