SNOB Milano and Massimo Alba Announce Acetate Eyewear Collaboration
Massimo Alba X Snob Milano
SNOB Milano and designer Massimo Alba have announced a collaborative eyewear collection. The project features a frame inspired by late 1970s designs, reinterpreted using SNOB Milano’s signature magnetic sun clip-on technology developed with ZEISS Sunlens. Distinctively, the frames utilize acetate, a material rarely used by SNOB Milano, to enhance visual substance and enable specific construction details like temple-tip bonding and three-dimensional internal engravings. Subtle branding includes Massimo Alba’s four-leaf clover logo on one temple and the SNOB Milano logo on the other, alongside a geometric aperture on the bridge. Multimedia artist Paolo Ventura will interpret the collaboration. This initiative represents an ongoing dialogue between SNOB Milano and Milanese creative names, aiming to elevate product value and positioning through shared aesthetic sensibilities and material research.
