Zeiss Vision Care Introduces MyoActive Myopia Management Lenses for Children
Zeiss Introduces MyoActive
Zeiss Vision Care has introduced Zeiss MyoActive, a spectacle lens solution designed to slow myopia progression in children. The lenses utilize Dynamic Signal Theory, combining myopic defocus with dynamic signal variation via patented M.O.V.E. (Micro Optical Variable Elements) technology. This nonrepetitive microstructure layout creates continuously changing retinal signals as the eye moves, aiming to reduce visual adaptation. Additionally, the back surface employs ZeissClearFocus design to minimize peripheral hyperopic defocus. Zeiss MyoActive is currently available in Canada and several European markets. The company states that the lenses are under research and review in other regions, including China and the United States, but have not yet received approval there.
