At Meta Connect, the company announced several new eyewear products. The headline device is the Meta VR Glasses (previously known as Phoenix), a lightweight mixed-reality headset featuring OLED displays, eye/hand/face tracking, and Snapdragon Reality Elite chipset. Scheduled for release this Spring at $1300, it aims to compete with Apple Vision Pro but has faced criticism for its limited field of view. Additionally, Meta unveiled the third generation of Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses with new styles like Aviator, and introduced 'Meta Audio Glasses,' a camera-free version focused on privacy. A special edition collaboration with K-pop idol Lisa was also revealed. Separately, Viture launched audio-only 'Vonder' glasses starting at $299 in the US.
