Fielmann Group Merges Spanish Optical Chains Under Universitaria Brand

Fielmann Group is consolidating its two Spanish optical chains, Óptica & Audiología Universitaria and Medical Óptica Audición, into a single brand under the Universitaria banner. The merger creates a combined network of 141 stores across 31 Spanish provinces. The rebranding process is scheduled to roll out progressively through the end of 2026. This move aims to strengthen Fielmann's position in the Spanish market.
