VonBogen ranks first in markt intern eyewear frame supplier survey

Eyewear manufacturer VonBogen, based in Fürstenzell near Passau, was voted the number one frame supplier by opticians in a nationwide survey conducted by industry information service "markt intern Augenoptik/ Optometrie." In the 2026 "Leistungsspiegel" (performance comparison) for eyeglass frames, VonBogen achieved the best overall grade of 1.32 among 29 manufacturers, winning in seven of nine subcategories including product quality and service behavior. This marks the company's first participation in the biennial survey. Co-managing director Benjamin Brickl stated the award confirms their commitment to listening to customers and continuous development. Founder Gerhard Brickl, who established the company nearly 35 years ago, continues to lead design efforts, emphasizing a unique combination of craftsmanship and independent design alongside comprehensive repair services for the entire optical industry.
