Hakino introduces colored inserts to wooden eyewear, offering 135,000 combinations
Hakino : le panthéon des lunettes en bois
Eyewear brand Hakino has added a new customizable element to its wooden frames by introducing colored inserts. This update complements the existing design that pairs wooden fronts with acetate temples. The brand reports that combining fifteen wood types, fifty frame shapes, eighteen temple colors, and ten insert tones results in 135,000 possible configurations. To highlight this personalization, Hakino launched a marketing campaign featuring Greek deities associated with specific models, such as Zeus wearing the Enzo & Maria frame. The collection emphasizes durability and lightness through artisanal manufacturing. These new designs are scheduled for presentation to opticians and the public at SILMO Paris 2026, taking place from September 25 to 28 at Hall 7, Stand G336.
