Megane Top Holds First "Professor Megane's Magic Lab" Workshop in Shizuoka

Eyewear retailer Megane Top held the inaugural session of its interactive workshop, "Professor Megane's Magic Lab," on September 5, 2026, at the Shizuoka Science Museum Rukuru in Shizuoka City. The event targeted elementary school students from grades one to three, with nineteen participants attending. Designed to foster interest in vision and optics, the workshop focused on the relationship between light and lenses. Participants acted as special researchers, using convex and concave lenses to observe how light refracts and changes visibility. They formulated hypotheses, tested them through hands-on experimentation, and applied their findings to solve puzzles. This initiative aims to present eyewear not merely as a daily necessity but as a tool for understanding optical mechanisms.
