Skynea launches new AI smartglasses powered by Hongshi's full-color QDPR microLED microdisplays
Skynea, a brand owned by Shenzhen CDL Precision Technology, introduced the Skyeagle V1 AI Smart Glasses, which are powered by Hongshi Intelligent’s XC6 full-color microLED light engine. The source notes that Skynea did not share many details about the product. Hongshi’s XC6 engine utilizes quantum-dots photoresist (QDPR) color-conversion technology. Earlier in 2026, Hongshi announced it had developed a full-color microLED microdisplay with a white-light brightness level of 1.2 million nits, which serves as the basis for the XC6 engine. This microdisplay employs a hybrid stack structure, integrating native blue and green microLEDs from two source wafers and using quantum dots to convert blue LED light into red.
