Ocuco Secures SOC 2 Type II Certification for Acuitas 3 OmniChannel Edition

Dublin-based eyecare software provider Ocuco announced it has received Service Organization Control 2 (SOC 2 Type II) certification for its Acuitas 3 OmniChannel Edition. Issued by an independent auditor, the certification verifies that Ocuco’s security controls meet stringent criteria for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. CEO Leo Mac Canna stated that maintaining such certifications is challenging for in-house systems and older software but essential for large organizations and regulators. Operations Director Peter Furlong noted that achieving this alongside ISO 27001 certification within a single audit cycle reinforces commitment to data protection and opens global market opportunities.
