SDC Technologies Announces New Global Headquarters in Rancho Santa Margarita

SDC Technologies, a subsidiary of Mitsui Chemicals, announced the relocation of its Group Headquarters to a new facility in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Scheduled for completion in Q4 2026, this project represents the company’s largest expansion to date. The 124,044-square-foot mixed-use campus sits on 6.82 acres and integrates office space, warehousing, production lines, R&D laboratories, and an Innovation Center. Backed by Mitsui Chemicals, the investment involves acquiring and redeveloping land previously owned by IMI CCI. The facility aims to enhance coating manufacturing, increase R&D capacity, and support global distribution. It will also feature solar panels expected to generate most of the site’s electricity requirements. This move supports Mitsui Chemicals’ Vision 2030 goals for advanced materials and operational innovation.
