EssilorLuxottica Unveils Second-Generation Hearing Glasses 'Nuance Audio Plus' in Milan

EssilorLuxottica introduced Nuance Audio Plus, the second generation of its hearing glasses, at an international event in Milan in late September. Designed for individuals with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss, the device integrates open-ear hearing technology into eyeglass frames alongside vision correction. According to the manufacturer, the new model offers increased amplification compared to the first generation, improved battery life, and clearer speech perception in noisy environments. When paired with an iPhone running iOS 16 or later, users can answer and end calls by double-tapping the frame. The collection will be presented at Booth 300 during the 70th EUHA International Congress in Hannover from October 14 to 16.
