Silmo Paris Announces 33rd Silmo d’Or Winners, Including International Optician of the Year Jessica Gowing

On September 26, 2026, Silmo Paris hosted its 33rd Silmo d’Or Awards ceremony at Pavillon Dauphine. Hosted by president Amélie Morel, the event honored winners in 13 categories and three special awards. The International Opticians’ Association named Jessica Gowing, lead optician at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London, as International Optician of the Year. Other notable winners included Julbo for Sport eyewear, Mega Optic for Vision technology, and Victoria Beckham for Sunglasses Labels. The Jury’s Special Prize went to Paloceras, while Andy Wolf received the Responsible Company Award. Additionally, Sophia Denison won the optical design contest with “DreamScape,” and Aliénor Vienne-Jumeau secured the Silmo Academy grant.
