IKOSS Eyewear Wins Red Dot Design Award for Modular Frame System

IKOSS Eyewear has received the 2026 Red Dot Design Concept Award for its new modular eyewear system. The design features a patented concentric-circle frame architecture that eliminates traditional hinges and screws, allowing front frames and temples to be exchanged in three seconds without tools. Manufactured from stainless steel with ±0.01 mm precision, the system has passed over 100,000 test cycles and is now in serial production, compliant with EN ISO 12870. IKOSS states this modularity extends product lifecycles and reduces repair costs by up to 70%. The platform also includes open interfaces for future AR applications and smart modules, aiming to offer distinctive products for the premium eyewear market.
