French Optical Retail Minimum Wages to Rise on November 1, 2026

An official decree published in the Journal Officiel on October 15 extends a July 9, 2026 salary agreement for the retail optical-lunetterie sector. Signed by employer groups ROF and FNOF alongside unions CFDT, CFE-CGC, CFTC-CSFV, and UNSA, the accord replaces the September 14, 2023 wage grid. Effective November 1, 2026, it applies to all companies under the branch collective agreement. For non-BTS employees working 151.67 hours monthly, gross minimum wages range from €1,903 to €3,536 depending on category. For health professionals, the grid starts at €2,024 and reaches up to €3,859 based on coefficient.
