Dublin-based software provider Ocuco announced the appointment of optometrist and technology executive Scott Jens, OD, FAAO, to its Board of Directors in September 2025. The move supports Ocuco’s strategic expansion into the United States eyecare market, specifically targeting independent providers with its cloud-based Acuitas 3 platform. Jens, former CEO of RevolutionEHR and current CEO of Sandbox Spaces, brings experience scaling North American SaaS solutions. His role aims to enhance software integration and feature development for US clinics. Separately, Ocuco was named a Platinum Requalifying Winner in Ireland’s Best Managed Companies awards on September 25, 2025, recognizing its management performance and product innovation over eight consecutive terms.
