Cione Óptica and Izertis launch AI strategy for independent optical shops

Cione Óptica y Audiología has initiated a strategic plan with technology consultancy Izertis to identify, develop, and prioritize artificial intelligence applications for its associated independent optical and hearing centers. The collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve competitiveness, and support daily management tasks through tools such as intelligent purchasing assistants and automated administrative solutions. This initiative builds on Cione’s recent digital modernization, including a new enterprise management system recognized with the Connected Enterprise Award 2026. The project will include a functional demonstrator tested in a controlled environment without patient health data, alongside governance protocols focusing on privacy and human oversight. Cione expects progressive deployment of these new solutions throughout 2027, following the completion of analysis and development phases.
