The Vision Center at Seaside Farms in Mt. Pleasant, SC, was named one of America’s Finest optical retailers by judges who praised its airy, patient-focused design. Owner Dr. Brad Bodkin designed the 5,500-square-foot facility, occupied since 2019, to maximize natural light and create a retreat-like atmosphere. The practice combines comprehensive care with advanced technologies including Heidelberg OCT, Optos imaging, RetEval, Neurolens, and Heru. Hospitality features include complimentary beverages and spa-like music in exam rooms. Community initiatives extend beyond clinical services, such as blood drives offering retinal photos and Ray-Ban discounts, and annual Toys for Tots collections exceeding 300 items. MODO is the top-selling frame brand, alongside Lilly Pulitzer, WOOW, Kate Spade, and Ray-Ban.
