Meta Donates 1,000 Ray-Ban AI Glasses to Four Singapore Organizations with $30,000 Training Grant

Meta announced on October 8 that it is donating 1,000 Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses to four Singapore organizations serving people with disabilities: the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH), Guide Dogs Singapore, the Singapore Disability Sports Council, and Gardens by the Bay. A US$30,000 grant accompanies the donation, allocated entirely to SAVH for developing a free accessibility curriculum focused on object identification, text reading, and voice commands. The announcement did not specify the glasses' generation, distribution among recipients, or delivery dates. While Gen 3 is the current product line, Meta confirmed no model details for these units.
