This transaction is part of Rodenstock’s global growth strategy, aiming to expand business into high-growth markets in Europe and North America by gaining direct access to core European markets. Indo Optical operates primarily in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, with headquarters in Sant Cugat del Vallès and production plants in El Papiol (Spain) and Tanger (Morocco). The company employs approximately 440 people. Rodenstock expects these markets to become significant revenue contributors, reinforcing its position as a market-leading Med-Tech company.
