TEF Magazine marks 10th anniversary with Club Bizarre exhibition at BOLD XXL
TEF turns TEN // A decade of eyewear that refuses to behave
TEF Magazine celebrated its tenth anniversary by launching "Club Bizarre," a theatrical exhibition at the BOLD XXL trade show. Rather than a traditional retrospective, the event transformed a decade of championing unconventional eyewear into an immersive physical experience featuring dark lighting, red cocktails, and themed displays. The exhibition highlighted brands that challenge commercial categories, including IMPURI Eyewear as the "Headliner" on a dedicated stage, showcasing experimental acetate, wood, carbon, and nylon frames designed by Goran Ilic. FUNK/SCHUSTER served as the "Featured Act," presenting bespoke pieces like the "BATWOMAN" frame handcrafted in Upper Bavaria. Additional displays included "Supporting Acts" and "Guest Appearances," emphasizing creative attitudes over standard product categorization.
