SILMO Paris 2026 Concludes with Focus on Smart Eyewear, AI Health Applications and Sustainable Innovation

SILMO Paris 2026 concluded at Paris Nord Villepinte, welcoming 32,108 professionals from nearly 150 countries. The event featured over 950 exhibitors showcasing innovations across 80,000 m². Key highlights included the SILMO Next Tech Village, which demonstrated smart glasses and AI-driven health applications, and hosted the first international hackathon for smart glasses health apps, won by Kimoo. The SILMO d’Or awards recognized technological advancements such as autofocus glasses and luxury smart eyewear. Sustainability was emphasized through the CSR Spot and the Committed Company Award given to Andy Wolf for its reduced carbon footprint and use of Acetate Renew. Emerging talent was supported via the Optic Design Contest, while the International Optician of the Year award honored Jessica Gowing for her work with children’s craniofacial anomalies.
