French optical retail wage agreement extended, effective November 1, 2026

An official decree published on October 15, 2026, extends the July 9, 2026 collective agreement on minimum wages for the French optical and eyewear retail sector (IDCC 1431). The new wage grid applies to all companies in the branch starting November 1, 2026. Signed by employer organizations Rof and Fnof, along with unions CFDT, CFE-CGC, CFTC-CSFV, and UNSA, the agreement increases minimum salaries for both staff and healthcare professionals across all career paths. This extension replaces the previous salary grid established by the September 14, 2023 agreement.
