SightGlass Vision hosts Canadian webinar on contrast management for pediatric myopia control

SightGlass Vision will host a one-hour educational webinar, “From Contrast Management to Myopia Control: Insights and Best Practices,” on October 7 at 7 p.m. ET for Canadian eye care professionals. The session features Kimberley Nguyen, OD, of Vaughan Vision Centre, sharing real-world cases using DOT® spectacle lenses (sold in Canada as MiSight® Spectacle Lenses powered by Diffusion Optics Technology). Nguyen reported patients with no progression for over three years and noted the lenses are her go-to option for younger children. Fabio Carta, Director of Professional Affairs at SightGlass Vision, will review supporting evidence. Research cited indicates the lenses saved more than 1D of progression on average after two years in Chinese children aged 6 to 10. A follow-up webinar is scheduled for October 21.
