WINK Optometrists unveils redesigned Elwood store in Australia to mark 20th anniversary

WINK Optometrists completed a redesign of its Elwood, Victoria, boutique this year to celebrate the business’s 20th anniversary. Designed by Brud Studio founders Andy Kelly and Mitchell Zurek, the interior draws inspiration from Iris Apfel, featuring custom-made cabinets, natural walnut, candy-coloured lacquer, travertine, glass, and polished metal. The team described the renovation as a "birthday gift" replacing a decade-old fit. While no new eyewear collections were added, the store offers a deeper presentation of existing favourite brands alongside a new Australian-made signature WINK frame and in-house designed travel cases. The project highlights local collaboration, including pendant lights by Melbourne artist Cordon Salon, aiming to create a home-like environment that fosters connection and individuality within the bayside community.
