Opti 2027 Announces "See. Hear. Next." Theme and New Smart Tech Zone

The organizers of the Opti trade fair announced that the 2027 event, scheduled for January 29–31 in Munich, will operate under the theme "See. Hear. Next." to highlight converging trends in eyewear and hearing care. A key addition is the new "Opti Smart Tech" special area, dedicated to smart glasses, wearables, and connected technologies. Director Cathleen Kabashi stated the focus shifts from isolated product trends to interdisciplinary developments. The program retains the "Tomorrow Vision" contact lens platform and expands design formats like "Opti Fine Eyewear." While positioned as an international event, organizer GHM emphasizes the DACH market's role as a primary innovation hub. Existing initiatives for workforce development and business succession remain central to the concept.
