opti 2027 introduces "See. Hear. Next." concept and new opti SMART TECH zone

Cathleen Kabashi, director of the Munich-based opti trade fair, announced that the upcoming opti 2027 edition will operate under the "See. Hear. Next." campaign. This initiative focuses on technologies, new business models, and industry evolution. A key addition is opti SMART TECH, a dedicated space for smart glasses, wearables, hearables, and connected technologies designed to bridge tech providers with optical and audiology professionals. While maintaining its primary focus on the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Kabashi emphasized that this concentration allows innovators to test relevance in a demanding European market early. Other highlighted formats include opti SPHEARE for optics-audiology interaction, TOMORROW VISION for contact lens trends, and expanded design stages like opti FINE EYEWEAR and opti DESIGN STAGE.
