Rudy Project signs Belgian triathlete Marten Van Riel through 2028

Italian eyewear and helmet brand Rudy Project announced a partnership with Belgian triathlete Marten Van Riel, running until the end of 2028. The collaboration officially launched on October 10 at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, though Van Riel had independently used Rudy Project’s Wingdream aero-helmet in prior competitions. As part of the agreement, Van Riel will race using the brand’s equipment, including the Nytron training helmet, Astral X and Astral Sphere mirrored sunglasses for racing and training, and Based eyewear for leisure. The partnership aligns with Rudy Project’s “Performance Starts In Your Head” positioning, emphasizing detailed gear selection for sight, protection, fit, thermoregulation, and comfort.
